Fujairah's desalination plant produces more than 180 million gallons of drinking water a day, and its power generation station generates 620 megawatts daily, meaning that the Fujairah free zone has the necessary infrastructure to allow for all types of business.
Fujairah has an "open skies" policy, along with highly competitive exchange rates, low prices on fuel, and very efficient immigration/customs procedures. The international airport in Fujairah and the Port work closely with the free zone, and they are more than capable of handling almost any kind of cargo. Today, Fujairah is also known as a storage facility, with a capacity of over 1 million tons. Its strategic location, modern port availability and its free zone have made Fujairah into an ideal venue for foreign business and investment.
