Thesaurus is simply a list of idioms in a science or group of sciences, such idioms are presented within a pyramidical entourage reflecting relation between general and individual and the most private. Importance of thesauri has emerged in the prevailing environment of specialized scientific thinking; the thing which necessitated the availability of a specialized scientific rationing tool which could be used in subject depiction of specialized intellectual output, the thing which facilitates its retrieval by beneficiaries.

Despite thesauri importance in general, Arab library lacks such very important tool, the reason behind such lacking is due to their need for collective institutional efforts because they are cost-effective in the preparation thereof; they also need work teams in order to properly reflect the dealt with subjects.

He added that thesauri always lean towards specialization in one subject or another. Yet the extensive thesaurus appeared to be comprehensive in its coverage, establishing an equilibrium between subjective comprehension enacted by the generalization and in depth processing enforced by strict specializations.

Thus, the electronically shaped thesaurus is usable by bibliography, compilation and indexing in public libraries, specialized, private, university and even school libraries. Besides, searching in it for phrases and idioms is carried out in a simple way, which enables both librarian and beneficiary to get acquainted with.

Searching in this thesaurus provides pyramidical display of the phrases and idioms, to look up any word in any place; it also provides the search in the thesaurus's three languages, yet any phrase or idiom could be transferred to any library indices as depicters of library assets.
