Abstract:
The research presents an identification of documents and their kinds, together with their substantial and identical characteristics, according to the materials preserved on them, there are discs with audio-visual recordings; there are charts, drawings and data. The research specifies document's means of production and distinguishes the man-made from natural ones. Then it enters within the structures of documents, that differ from one to other: (books, periodicals, un-published documents). It also defines the age of document which co-relates with various factors such as modernization level, and suitability to knowledge level, individual value, along with the material it presents and the subject it manipulates.
